We love this setI bought this for my son who is 4. It’s still a little much for him to do on his own but my husband loves creating things with it. It has been so much fun for them both. They have enjoyed making the creation examples that are in the little booklet along with their own ideas. It keeps them both occupied for hours. When my son plays with it alone he mostly just puts in screws and unscrews them, but he’s getting more creative as he plays with it and learns how the pieces work together.I bought these as a gift for my granddaughter. They are OK. She liked them. But she was a little bored with them.Got this for a 5 yo child that loves to tinker with things. He is high on spectrum and loves this set. Mom says it is only toy he plays with daily. Has held up for 9 months.This was a gift for my grandchild. I like a gift that challenges the brain of young ones and also has creativity built into it.Our 5-year-old grandson really likes this building set. Appears it will hold up to a youngsters efforts to make it all come together.My two boys love this. But there are not enough wheels!!!!all the elaborate pieces go to waste because all they want to do is make cars.... and you only include 4 wheels! I feel there is a dis-connect between "age 4 and 8" in your piece allotment.I ordered this for my grandson’s fifth birthday.He has barely put this down since his birthdaylast week!!!
