Oh, the memories. I recall seeing this toy when my son was young. He's 49 now, so he was probably around 9 or 10 and I thought, "I wish I had seen this toy when Mike was little." Since Viking Toys came into being about 40 years ago, that would make it about right. This little dog is perfect for pulling as the wheels turn easily and silently!! They won't get on your nerves as some toys do. My great-nephew is now one, so I wanted this toy for his visits. I like to have toys that my three great-nephews can look forward to when they visit.I do have one worry about this darling Pull Along Dog. The string that the child uses to pull it is very short. I know that a one-year-old isn't very tall, but this string is really small in diameter and length. I may try to replace it myself if it gives him any problem.The dog is small, but it is perfect for him to love and I won't have to worry as the edges are really smooth. He can even chew on it as the dog is dishwasher safe!! Imagine throwing the toy into the dishwasher just before he visits and having confidence that it is germ-free!! I can't wait for his next visit to see how he loves it. Oh, I was lucky and received the yellow one with red ears!! You don't get to choose. Some are red with yellow ears and are also cute, but I was hoping for the yellow one. As I was saying, I'm anxious for him to come over and play with it. I very highly recommend this Pull Along Dog by Viking Toys!!
